What if I have a problem with my driving instructor after my first lesson?
Get in contact with us if you are having any problems with your driving instructor. We will swiftly investigate the issue and find a suitable resolution for all parties. If you are not satisfied due the instructor’s own shortcomings or negligence (for example if the instructor fails to show up) we will still provide a refund accordingly.

We know it can be daunting to go ahead and book your driving instructor for the first time. We also want to make sure you have the best possible experience learning to drive with us. This is why we offer a full refund guarantee on your first lesson (up to a maximum value of £40) if you are not satisfied with your chosen driving instructor.
- How do I make a claim for Quickly Drive’s Refund Guarantee?
Simply contact us by email, telephone or chat within 24 hours of your lesson taking place and let us know what happened. We’ll then immediately credit your Quickly Drive account with a full 100% refund and help you to book another driving instructor.
- Are there any exclusions to the Refund Guarantee?
The Refund Guarantee is only applicable on your first driving lesson booked through the Quickly Drive App and may only be claimed once. You will not be eligible for the Refund Guarantee for any subsequent bookings. This does not affect other terms and you will not be eligible for a refund due to your own negligence or non-compliance of any other terms which have been read and agreed by you on creation of your Quickly Drive Account. You will also not be eligible for a refund if you simply change your mind after making a purchase.
How do I invite friends for £20 credit?
Once you have created a Quickly Drive account, you’ll have an option at the bottom of the Quickly Drive home screen to share your profile with friends. This will provide you with your own referral code that you can then share with your friends. Your friend will be prompted to enter a referral code when creating an account and you’ll earn £20 credit after they’ve booked their first lesson. This will then be deducted from your next purchase on the Quickly Drive App. Oh, and don’t cheat! We will know if you create multiple accounts.
What if my driving instructor is late or doesn’t turn up?
It can sometimes happen that driving instructors might be slightly late for a lesson (due to delays with their previous lesson, traffic etc..) however they will notify you accordingly. If for whatever reason the driving instructor does not show up, you will be provided with a full refund.
What type of driving lessons can I arrange with Quickly Drive?
Driving instructors on the Quickly Drive App can arrange pretty much any type of driving lessons you may require. This includes refresher lessons for existing drivers, beginner courses, advanced driving courses, PassPlus, motorway driving, intensive driving courses & many more.
How much does a lesson cost?
With Quickly Drive, all driving instructors set their own prices based on a number of factors. However with options to suit any budget, prices can start from as little as £26/hour.
Are your driving instructors DVSA-Approved?
Absolutely, all driving instructors on the Quickly Drive App are required to instruct to a high standard and meet all legal requirements to safely provide driving lessons. It is a requirement for any driving instructor on the Quickly Drive platform to provide their approved driving instructor certificate (as provided by the DVLA), proof of insurance & Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). We also check the driving instructor’s grade and carefully monitor feedback from pupils to ensure we only present you with the very best driving instructors available.
How does Quickly Drive work?
Quickly Drive is a mobile application that allows you to view, compare and book DVSA-Approved driving instructors directly from your smartphone. Once you have downloaded the app, a simple postcode search will show you all available driving instructors in your area. All you need to do is pick your favourite one!
How do I choose a driving instructor?
Enter your pickup location in the Quickly Drive App, then tap on ‘Search Instructors’ to view all available driving instructors in your local area. We’ll only ever show you driving instructors that cover your area and have availability to book straight away. All you need to do is pick your favourite one!
Can I change my pickup point once the lesson’s booked?
Yes you can! Tap on the upcoming lesson you would like to edit from the Quickly Drive home screen and then tap on the pick-up point to edit your address. Keep in mind that the updated address needs to be within your driving instructor’s coverage area. It is best to check with your driving instructor directly if he’s happy with the new address.
Can I learn to drive in my own car?
Of course! Although it will depend on the preference of your chosen driving instructor. It is quite common that a driving instructor might prefer you to start learning to drive in their car to ensure your safety through the use of dual control pedals. Once your driving instructor deems that your driving is safe enough they may be happy to teach you in your own car. Do reach out to us at quicklydrive1@gmail.com if you need more information.

Is it safe to book a driving lesson through Quickly Drive?
Our priority is to offer a safe & comfortable learning environment for new drivers to able to learn to the best of their ability. All driving instructors on the Quickly Drive App go through a strict vetting process to ensure quality & safety for learner drivers.
The process includes checking the driving instructor’s ADI certificate (ADI Certificate is a qualification provided by the DVSA which is required to legally instruct learners to drive), Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), Instructor Grade & the instructor’s insurance documents to ensure all is in order. We also speak to learner drivers on a regular basis and actively remove driving instructors that do not provide an adequate service.
I need a driving instructor for a practical driving test. Can Quickly Drive help?

How long does it take to pass my practical driving test?
According to the DVSA, the average learner will need 47 hours of private tuition with a driving instructor in addition to 20 hours of practice with family and friends. Keep in mind that this is just the average. Some learners will take longer and some will pass much faster.
This comes down to two main factors – how quickly you’re able to learn & absorb information but most importantly the quality & experience of your driving instructor.
How do I get the best value for money?
Driving instructors on the Quickly Drive App offer a variety of packages and pricing options. However, buying lessons in bulk is going to be your best option when it comes to getting the best value. Driving instructors typically offer a free lesson with the purchase of a 10-hour bundle, but best to check directly from the app. You can also use our custom filters to sort instructors based on their hourly rate.
Keep in mind that getting a driving instructor with the cheapest hourly rate doesn’t necessarily mean that you’ll spend less money on your driving lessons overall. An experienced driving instructor will be able to instruct and communicate more effectively which means that you might not need as many hours to pass your test.
I have been struggling to find a driving instructor, why do instructors on the Quickly Drive App have immediate availability?
Driving instructors are currently in high demand due to a number of reasons but mainly due to the driving test backlog caused by Covid-19. Consequently, a large number of driving instructors have had to implement long waiting lists for accepting new pupils. However, there are always driving instructors that have immediate availability based on their own circumstances. To save you time, the Quickly Drive App will only show you driving instructors that are available to book. Fully booked or unavailable driving instructors will not show up on the Quickly Drive App.
Can I learn to drive in an automatic car?
Of course! The Quickly Drive App allows you to refine your search for driving instructors based on a number of criteria including: Gearbox type, vehicle type, pricing, gender & many more.

Our founders initially had the idea for an app after finding it difficult to find their own driving instructor when learning to drive. After founding the company in 2025, the concept quickly grew from there and the founders made it their personal mission to make it as easy as possible for learner drivers to find & book their ideal driving instructor. It doesn’t just stop there though we have big future plans to make the app even better which we are already working on!

How do I cancel a lesson?
You will be able to view your upcoming driving lessons from the Quickly Drive App homepage. Tap on the scheduled driving lesson you would like to cancel and then tap on ‘cancel lesson’. Keep in mind that there is a 24-hour cancellation policy applicable.
If you decide to cancel your driving lesson within 24 hours, you may not be eligible for a refund and won’t be able to cancel your lesson via the app. In this case, contact us on chat or at quicklydrive1@gmail.com as soon as possible to discuss.
How do I get in contact with my driving instructor?

Once you have made a booking through the Quickly Drive App, your driving instructor will reach out to you directly to introduce themselves. If you need to speak with your driving instructor urgently, then please email us at quicklydrive1@gmail.comk to discuss your query. We will either process your request or put you in touch with your driving instructor.
